Sometimes you get a music-loving family and they just have to try & make a living from it. We love entertaining people, and we've been at it for a while.

Cameron Byington - Cameron is in charge of selecting the music for each event, so that we can match the tone of your party with our extensive tune selection. He'll handle dj duties with the microphone, and also help conduct the interview with you to find out what you're thinking about for the event. He handles all requests at our gigs, because he knows what we have (or need to get!) and can get it playing for you.

Besides his work with Shamrock sound, Cameron is a soccer player, bass player for our band, honor roll student at school and inquisitive soul away from school, with interests in marine biology, writing music, running, gaming, and one day meeting Emma Watson after she ditches Harry.

Shay Byington - Shay will be making sure all the tech stuff goes right for your gig. He's a sought after computer fixer on the island where we live, and he specializes in making the system we have fit the hall. If it's a big room, we don't want too much echo & reverb; if it's a small room, we don't want the sound to be overpowering. Shay's the one who will make it right.

In his other life, Shay is also a high school soccer player, accomplished drummer for both a punk group and folk rock band, focused & driven student with his eye on a college that will let him play music 24/7 & still get a degree. His interests include making drums, graphic art & webpage making, running, studying the way things work, especially in nature, and hanging out with his friends, most of whom are slackers who wish they were in bands, too (just kidding).

Ian Byington - Ian will be in charge of making sure your event moves smoothly, and that you are happy with the way the evening goes. He'll be on the microphone, and will help with music selection with music before 1990, his specialty.

Before helping put Shamrock Sound together with Shay and Cameron, Ian has performed both solo and in bands all over the United States and Canada (well, Calgary, once). He is a much-requested singer at weddings that want a quiet, folk-acoustic sound, and has played in more coffeehouses, taverns, and college events than he can remember, and sometimes sings at Shamrock gigs, too.

Ian brings years as a school activities director, radio dj, and events planning guy together for your gig...you'll like what you get!

The Byington Boys Band - Want a different sound that will make your party really different? Consider having us play as a band for an hour or two as well. Our songlist as a band is mostly 60's and 70's rock and folk rock which most people will recognize, along with Ian's original compositions from his albums. Have Ian sing "Give Yourself to Love" before the bride & groom's toast, or have the boys play "I'm A Believer" when it's time to throw the rice.
